Great hall ceiling, Comlongon Castle

Sandra and I went to Comlongon Castle, the place we were thinking of getting married - and as a result of the visit we decided we would. Hiring the castle and the hotel for the day was a bit of a dint in the wallet but the look in my Princess' eye made it worth it.

This is a picture of the hall's ceiling where wedding ceromonies are held. It shows coats of arms and clan and sept shields, emblems and motifs. Around the timber beams are wise sayings aimed at about-to-be-married couples.

The one shown says "choose your friends among the wise and your enemies among your..." and I forget the rest. If I remember to check during our wedding I'll update this!
