| The plaquard says: "This incredible statue was hand-carved by a native of the far east form one piece of timber. It took a year to complete, is 11 ft high and weighs 5 cwt." Sandra and I were visiting the Barbican in Plymouth and popped into the Shell Shop. Lots of people must take photographs as one of the assistants offered to move a display out of the way to make some more room for us :) Nice people... |
