King Henry VIII bedThis four poster bed in the Bridle Suite of Comlongon Castle has a bit of history attached. The bed was originally owned by King Henry VIII (yes, of multiple wives fame!). Richard Burton bought it for Elizabeth Taylor during one of their ok periods and then later gifted (sold?) it to Comlongon Castle. Of course, now in the bridal suite, all newly-weds who are staying over night get a chance to romp in a bed fit and made for a King!! |
